Where to stay in Paris

Day 1- My 3 Days in Paris

If you want to be within walking distance of Eiffel Tower, this is the place to be. It is about 7 minutes walk from the metro station Alma Maceau and about the same time to the Eiffel Tower.

I had never stayed in a boutique hotel before, so this was a new experience. I always felt more comfortable with big chains of hotels and I knew what to expect from them. When I booked the hotel, I requested a top floor as the website I booked it from did not give me that choice.

To my utter surprise we did indeed get the top floor family suite, with one window facing the street and the other window facing the Eiffel Tower, well, not the whole tower like you see in Instagram, but just the tip of the tower.

The hotel, a wonderful welcome with macaroons in our room.

I had breakfast in the hotel the next day and I loved the Breakfast room. The children enjoyed practising their French whilst asking for milk. The member of staff serving us tea and coffee was very pleasant and she tried her best to accomodate our needs.
